SPIL GAMES Names Oscar Diele As New CMO

SPIL GAMES, the world’s ultimate online game destination, announced today that Oscar Diele will join the company as its new Chief Marketing Officer on May 1, 2009. As CMO, Diele will drive SPIL GAMES marketing programs and lead the content, portal, and localization strategy building within the management team. Diele will be joining SPIL GAMES after a successful career at TomTom, where he served as the Vice President of eCommerce, responsible for all online marketing and sales activities of TomTom in over 25 countries. In this role, Diele developed and managed several platforms that drove the online sales of TomTom’s hardware, content and services for its 30 million customers worldwide.

Prior to his current role at TomTom, Diele was the Director of Marketing for eBay and Marktplaats in the Netherlands, running marketing programs for both businesses. When Marktplaats was acquired by eBay Inc. in 2004, Diele also lead the integration of Marktplaats into the eBay Inc company.
