Vogster Entertainment has revealed today that they will bring their mission-based real time strategy title to the iPhone later this summer. Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem will feature all the humor, wit, content and strategy of the original game, and will be enhanced to deliver an even better experience through the iPhone’s unique features – including touch-screen support and online multiplayer. Fun and intuitive, Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem for the iPhone will be accessible to all skill-levels of players -- from the most casual tactician to the supreme robot-ruling warlord.
Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem is scheduled for release in late summer 2009 for the iPhone and iTouch.
Based on the strategy title for the Nintendo DS, Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem for the iPhone features all the zany characters, hilarious dialog and exciting yet accessible action of the original game. In Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem, players will build and command robot armies to fend off attacks from the evil Demolisher and his near-endless supply of maniacal mechanical marauders. The game features characters and dialog created by the comedic writing duo of Jay Lender (of Spongebob Squarepants™ fame) and Micah Wright and a storyline sure to keep players laughing for hours on end. Featuring 10 unit types, 20 varieties of weaponry, 17 campaign missions, 18 unique multiplayer maps, a cast of powerful Hero robots and an intuitive touch-screen interface, Robocalypse – Mobile Mayhem ensures fun for everyone.
