ijji.com is heating up the action with a batch of brand new content for Soldier Front, its popular modern military multi-player online first-person shooter (MOFPS) game. Players will be able to use their Special Points (SP), Soldier Front’s in-game currency, to unlock the all new PSU character class and new weapons. The Shanghai Horror map, a terrifying twist on the fan-favorite map Shanghai map, complete with ominously dark skies and blood-stained streets, has been added for use in Horror Mode.

The latest update adds the Gatling Gun, a six-barreled machine gun with a high rate of fire and ammunition capacity, and the TANGO-51, the game’s most accurate high-performance sniper rifle. The PSU character class will be able to use a slew of new accessories, including the Grey Beanie, Officer Chapeau, Cowboy Hat, Field Mat and Whiskey Canteen.

Along with the robust new update, ijji.com is hosting a pair of exciting events for Soldier Front players from Thursday, May 20 through June 2, 2010. The Salary Double Up event rewards players with a double-SP-salary recharge when they use up their existing SP during the event period. The PSU Launch Deal rewards players who use their SP to purchase the PSU character class with free use of the Combat Helmet, which boosts the damage a player can take, for seven days.

Soldier Front is ijji.com’s action-packed answer to the modern warfare FPS.  Players take on the likeness of various Special Forces unit leaders, such as SAS, Seal, Delta Force, among others, and implement distinctive task force strategies found in today’s modern combat.  Additional information about Soldier Front is available at http://sfront.ijji.com/.
