Sony Launches 3D Games for PS3

Sony has launched a stereoscopic three pack on the Playstation network. The games include 3D versions of WipEout HD, SuperStardust HD and Pain, in addition to a single level demo of MotorStorm: Pacific Rift, for £23.99 / €29.99.

Alternatively, if you purchase a new Sony Bravia 3D TV, you can get them free. If you’re already an owner of the games there will be free patches available for you to upgrade your versions.

There is no word as to whether or not the titles will remain playable in a standard 2D after the patch but one would imagine there to be a 2D or 3D option available on the menu.
