Fallen Earth Releases Patch v1.7.4

Developers at Fallen Earth, LLC are ending the year with a “bang,” releasing content patch v1.7.4, which hit servers today. The patch features a revamp of the combat system, new and improved tutorial and enhancements to terrain and lighting among other changes.

Among the major updates in today’s patch is the first phase of the combat system revamp, which alters main combat formulas and mitigation. Mutations, Skills and Capstones have also been unlocked from the Faction system, allowing players to choose their abilities regardless of allegiance.Fallen Earth Logo

Along with improvements to combat, the team has made changes to AP, allowing players the ability to earn additional AP from many in-game activities, such as crafting, harvesting and PvP and have incorporated an AP Spent Cap for allocating points.

Developers have also made improvements to the new players’ experience. Following the revamp of the extended tutorial, the original tutorial also received revisions, making it more action-oriented and providing additional Help Tips to orient new players.

Upon completing the new tutorial, players will also have the option to venture through the restructured Starter Town of Boneclaw, which now features over 50 new missions, available for both new and existing players, as well as additional encounter areas and a new vanity pet.

Additionally, further graphics enhancements have been made to terrain textures and lighting, adding to the slew of environmental graphics updates released this year.

Patch v1.7.4 features several bug fixes and improvements to AI, Faction Control Points and Conflict Towns. And to celebrate the holidays, developers have dropped gift boxes containing festive in-game items throughout the world for players.
