Tripwire Interactive has announced that August 30th will be the day that Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad will be released. The expected price will be $39.99 but no pre-order bonuses or deals have been announced as of orchestra 2 set for end of august

On top of that, Tripwire Interactive has chosen Punkbuster and PBBans streaming ban support.

"With the selection of PunkBuster and PBBans in addition to VAC we’re taking a three pronged approach to cheat protection for Red Orchestra 2," said John Gibson, Tripwire Interactive President. "We hope this sends a strong message to gamers that we take cheating very seriously and are tackling it head on BEFORE the game ships."

The game is set to bring some interesting elements with it including a cover system which I don’t recall seeing much of in a first-person shooter, there will also be tank warfare, new multiplayer modes including a campaign mode and intricate ballistics and the ability to supress enemies. Along with all that it will include two playable campaigns as both German and Red Army.
