Another round of updates hit steam and it is a diverse feature-rich intensely varied list of games. Or not, you decide.new on steam 30-06-11

Nation Red Update Released

Updates to Nation Red have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Updates/New Features

  • New versus gamemode: King Of The Hill
  • New sentry gun. The default gun now does a lot more damage. Sentrygun cooldown is also faster so you don’t need to wait too long before they’re operational again
  • Sentry Guns now automatically upgrade. (To upgrade them faster, stand near them)
  • Bosses health and kill bonus reworked: Some bosses (Butcher, Axe, Cutoff saw) won’t get more armor as the game progresses and remain relatively easy to kill. Minigun and
  • AK-47 bosses will attack more intelligently later on in games. Bonus for killing a minigun or AK47 boss is increased from 25,000 to 100,000 Xp.
  • Bonus for killing a Zombie Bomber is doubled from 2500 to 5000 Xp
  • Butcher Zombie Boss now appears on Barricade levels
  • In on-line coop shared xp mode, other players’ perk selection messages stay on-screen longer
  • Added an option for setting the amount of ground blood textures(splats)
  • Text chat now also possible while pausing the game
  • Lobby owner now has the ability to kick players from lobby
  • Ghost powerup frequency increased
  • When at 100% health, powerup pull/snare for med kits is reduced
  • When both weapons are locked, powerup hook won’t pull weapons towards you
  • Super Shorty and M4A1 weapon damage increased by 30%
  • AA-12 weapon damage increased by 15%
  • Visible map space at the bottom of the Oil Platform level is now larger
  • Medkits walked over by players with 100% health can now be picked up by other players
  • Oil Platform level zombie flows much better
  • Updated manual with current weapon stats
  • Gamepad crosshairs use Polar coordinates

Bug Fixes

  • Mouse speed/sensitivity set back to as it was before the 1.86 update
  • ALT-TABing away from the game resets the Windows cursor rectangle back to the entire desktop
  • Pressing Enter during text chat/console while the perk screen is up won’t accidentally select a perk anymore
  • Menu options easy to click on regardless of screen resolution

Ancients of Ooga Update Released

Build notes:

- Level selection screen from the main menu was only allowing the 1st realm and level to be selected. Now all realms and levels that have been unlocked can be selected from there.

- Games setting tool is now launched by default which in-turn launches the game.

- Removed instances of "trigger" throughout text that referred to Xbox
360 controller triggers.

- Hover beans now time out appropriately for systems capable of running the game at game at 50+ fps

- Frame rate is capped at roughly 120 fps to prevent timing precision loss on non-floating point timers.

- Disabled mouse controls in the audio settings menu as it was behaving badly.


Delve Deeper Update Released

  • You can now unlock Slime’s Sappin’ Mah Sentry if you initiate combat
  • Two crashes associated with manual tile selection fixed.

Team Fortress 2 Update Released

Updates to Team Fortress 2 have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Team Fortress 2

  • Fixed a case where CritBoost effects were being removed from players being healed.
  • Fixed a problem with Arena mode first blood CritBoost not removing itself at the correct time.
  • Fixed a bug where Demomen kept their leftover charge amount when self-aborting charges (you’ll still keep leftovers when stopped by enemy airblasts)
  • Fixed the problem that was causing Strange Demoman shields to not accumulate kills.
  • Fixed a bug where the Reserve Shooter would minicrit against swimming targets.
  • Tomislav spin-up reduction has been reduced from 75% to %40 (so it now spins-up slower)
  • Made the Jumper’s Jeepcap and Pocket Medic craft-able.
  • Updated the bot navigation files for several maps.
  • Added an entry for "Call Vote" to the Options->Keyboard Settings, so you can bind a key to it.
  • Updated the gamehaptics file:
    • Added/Refined recoil/draw/crit/reload forces for all of the new weapons in the Uber Update.
    • Refined all Rocket Launcher Forces recoil forces to feel more true to recoil animation.
    • Tuned Brass Beast recoil to have less of an impact on your aiming reticle.
