Futuremark`s 3DMark 11 Overclock Shootout Competition Winners

Futuremark today announced the winners of its latest 3DMark 11 overclocking contest, sponsored by Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS). During the four week worldwide contest more than 70,000 qualifying scores were submitted, but competition at the top was fierce with two winners submitting scores that ranked in the top 10 3DMark 11 scores of all time.3Dmark announces overclock winners


Overclockers were competing to submit the highest score using the 3DMark 11 performance preset.

Week 1 – Khalam – P17675
Week 2 – John Case – P21372
Week 3 – Perica_baril – P21127
Week 4 – Lucky_n00b – P21916 (6th best score in 3DMark 11 hall of fame)


Each week, a winner was randomly chosen from submitted scores ending in the numbers 99 or 75 – for example, P28499, E13899 or X1875. Scores from any version of 3DMark, from 3DMark 2003 to 3DMark 11, and using any available preset were valid and at the end of contest over 6,000 qualifying scores were received.
