KinoConsole now gives you the opportunity to stream games to your devices. In case that you have an Android device, Windows phone or an iOS device connected to the Internet, you do not need a special GPU and the service can be run on different hardware.

Kinoni CEO Sami Gröhn commented that: "you need a recent high-end Nvidia desktop GPU and their Android device. That can be costly. Based on Steam statistics, Nvidia has a 50 percent market share, and how many of those Nvidia GPU’s do support game streaming? Probably less than half, so most gamers are not able to use their service.”

To use the new service, you need to install the mobile client and the PC server software. At the moment, these are available for Windows Phone. As for Android devices, a beta client is expected in a month. Windows Phone had a prior three months start, because the campaign was sponsored by Microsoft’s AppCampus program.

As Gröhn explains: "Our plan is to create a platform-independent solution that runs on iOS, Android, Windows Phone and Windows tablets". On July 22 the Windows Phone app was launched.
