Street Fighter IV Anime Film Commissioned

No Comment 20 Views

Street Fighter fans will recall that last time anyone attempted to convert the beat-’em-up classic into movies, the anime version was far superior than Van Damme’s live-action affair.

Well, it seems that Capcom now intends to further expand on the anime shorts it recently produced to help fill gamers in with what’s happened since the last time Ryu and pals crossed knuckles, and has asked fabled Japanese animation gurus, Studio 4C, to produce an hour long anime special to coincide with the console release of SFIV.

As it happens, studio 4C was actually founded by Street Figher IV supervisor, Koji Morimoto, so we can expect a decent animated film to bolster the game’s home release. In the meantime, you can check out a bit of SF IV anime below.
