NetDragon Websoft Inc., announced a new licensing agreement with Electronic Arts Inc. on the development of the Group’s first 3D massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG) based on Electronic Arts’ Dungeon Keeper line of games -- including themes, characters and other game content. As part of this agreement, NetDragon will develop the game and obtains the exclusive license to operate and distribute Dungeon Keeper Online throughout the Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

I would like to see how this turns out, for those of us who remember this game I can see this as an online game. A quick history lesson, the original Dungeon Keeper came out in June of 1997, later that year, Dungeon Keeper: The Deeper Dungeons came out in November. In 1999 Dungeon Keeper II went on sale.  DK II would be the last one as Dungeon Keeper III was in the plans but never made it out for distribution as it was cancelled. The games were much what the name described, a hack and slash, running through dungeons.
