Ubisoft is opening a business office in Mexico citing the stabilization of the market lately and the "amazing opportunity for growth in the market".

So all you gamers, game sellers and game developers in Mexico can expect some new opportunities as well.

If you're in the Mexico City area then check out the Electronic Games Show (EGS) there this weekend at the World Trade Center. Expect Ubisoft to have a strong presence and to show off quite a bit of things they expect to have ready this holiday season for the region.

Here's a list of some of what they are bringing to the table:

      • Rayman: Raving Rabbids (action-adventure, presented on the Wii) Rayman is back to fight crazed bunnies in this legendary series that has sold 17 million copies worldwide.
      • Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Double Agent (spy action, presented on the Wii): An amazing new installment in this series that has already sold 14 million units worldwide.
      • Open Season (kids action-adventure, presented on the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system): The video game adaptation of Sony Pictures Animation’s eagerly awaited first CGI movie.
