There's a new multiplayer game trailer available now for The Darkness, the upcoming comic book-based game from 2K games and Starbreeze Studios scheduled to cast its shadow over the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 this summer. The Darkness is based on a comic book from Top Cow Comics, which many of you may not know. So check out the video below as well as more game informatio. It's slated to be released 29.June.07 for the Xbox 360 and July for the PS3. So if you're afraid of the Darkness then you best run for the covers and hide your little head.

 

 On his 21st birthday, the awesome and terrible powers of the Darkness awaken within Jackie Estacado, a mafia hitman for the Franchetti crime family. With his new powers, Jackie is able to wreak terrifying havoc on his enemies. Jackie must learn to fully command the Darkness so he can take back control of the Franchetti family, which is ruled by his uncle Paulie, a despicable man who is almost universally despised.

The game looks good though that last 'demon arm' video didn't do much for me personally. It was just writhing about doing not much at all. But this video has restored my faith in the game
