GamersGate to Go Client-Free

GamersGate announced today that it will offer its entire catalog “client-free” beginning January 28, 2009. With this new feature, GamersGate is poised to step to the front of the digital distribution industry.

“GamersGate will now offer gamers more convenient access to their games without forcing them into a client,” said Theodore Bergquist, CEO of GamersGate. GamersGate will offer its entire catalog from over 90 publishers including Eidos, SEGA, THQ, 2K, and, Bethesda “client free.”
