In November we reported that Saw: The Video Game had lost their publisher due to the closing of Brash Entertainment. Konami has come to the rescue.

According to an article published over at Variety.com, Konami has made a deal with Lionsgate and will take over the publishing rights. The deal is a long-term deal, so if this title becomes popular, we can look forward to many more Saw video games. Zombie Studios has still been working on the game all along.

Lionsgate had been considering using the game as a springboard into video game publishing, but decided even with the potential profits within the gaming industry, they did not feel they could market it properly.

Tobin Bell, who voices Jigsaw in the movies will be the voice in the game.
