Following the recent trend by EA of release dates slipping several months, today they announced that yet another title is taking a release date hit. This time it’s the Godfather II title set for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Considering it was originally slated to release 24 Feb, 27th in the UK they were cutting this one close.

Electronic Arts Inc. and Paramount Digital Entertainment today announced that The Godfather II videogame will now be available in stores on April 7th in North America and April 10th in Europe. That’s about a month and a half date change.

So to make up for it, players who pre-order The Godfather II at participating retailers worldwide will receive an exclusive crew member, named Tommy Cipolla, to hire into their family.

The Godfather II has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB and 18+ for PEGI.
