KpopStarz reports that the new horror game will be even scarier and more intense than the previous one.

According to an interview with Hideo Kojima of WhatifGaming, the new release will have a different feel compared to its old versions.

"Development is cycling between either allowing players to choose to play the whole game in first person or third person, or keeping it fixed third person and having some areas be first person only. Either way, we want to do something with first person. The game will not be out more than likely until 2016, lots of time left", Hideo Kojima said.

At the same time, the new feel of the game that Kojima talked about, might be a result of the new Fox Engine, which Silent Hill will use for the PS4 launch date.

Nevertheless, if the developers use Fox Engine, this actually means that Silent Hill could be an open world game, similarly to the Grand Theft Auto. According to this scenario, the game may have an open world gameplay, where the protagonist have the opportunity to choose between certain 'scenarios' or 'episodes' that they will play.

Recently, The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus expressed his excitement in working with both Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro in order to provoke even higher interest.

Nevertheless, the crossbow-wielding action star teased that they are still in the process of bringing the 'heavy stuff' to development. In fact, this means that the new game is already under development.

"I'm super excited to be a part of Silent Hills. Both those guys are geniuses at what they do. We haven't shot the 'heavy stuff' yet", stated Reedus in an interview.
