A couple of years after Human Revolution, the release of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been just confirmed. The game is focused on humanity's fear of augmented people after the previous game' conclusion. The launch date of Mankind Divided is not set yet, though, it is certain that the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

It looks like Square Enix's sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution may have just leaked. Some imagery and information on Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, developed by Eidos Montreal, have just been revealed by Kanobu. These are launching to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, and the stars returning hero Adam Jensen is fighting across the globe, including Czech Republic.

Obviously, actions from Human Revolution will not carry over, because none of Human Revolution's four endings is considered canonical. The screenshots suggest that Mankind Divided continues to be a first-person action game, including third-person cover, as well as cybernetic augmentation, giving Jensen the ability to deflect bullets, see through smoke with x-ray vision, and hack computers remotely.

In addition, Jensen is able to augment his weapons with silencers, scopes, and some other attachments. All of this plays into whether or not players decide to go in guns blazing, or with stealth, a la Human Revolution.

In 2014, Square Enix announced Deus Ex Universe as an all-encompassing franchise umbrella. This one will not be an MMO, according to the game's early concept art that has been revealed.

Since Monday, the publisher has been teasing a new game via a Twitch ARG, named Can't Kill Progress.
