'Gears of War' used to be one of the games which took advantage of the newly-launched Xbox 360' features back then. Presently, Microsoft together with Tusk Studios hope to achieve the first title's glory days via the remastered edition of 'Gears of War' for Xbox One.

Earlier this year, the new title came out as a rumor first, when it was announced that Microsoft will be developing a bundle anthology for the current-gen console, named 'Marcus Fenix Collection'. Nevertheless, Rod Fergusson, head of Black Tusc Studios, denied the rumors and tweeted instead:

“I love the passion, but there is no Marcus Felix Collection. We are working on other exiting Gears projects. I'll see you at E3!”

Fergusson's post confirmed industry observers claiming that there will be a new 'Gears of War' title in development.

The game observer Polygon claims that the re-launching the original 'Gears of War' to Xbox One would be accompanied by upgraded visuals, reworked and improved graphics, and cinematic cutscenes, created by the industry expert Plastic Wax.

The rumors say that part of the improved elements of the original title would be to upgrade the graphics for 60 fps. If this turns out to be true, the remastered version of 'Gears of War' will join some other games in order to achieve eye-popping cinematics and smooth playing experience.

Among the other games which play on 60-fps frame rate is the new titles from the 'Call of Duty' franchise, as well as the fifth installment of 'Helo'.

Last year, Microsoft obtained the rights for 'Gears of War' from Epic Games, and since then, the corporation has been developing a series of games based on the 'Gears of War' franchise. According to the industry sources, these titles are independent of the remastered edition, though no other information is available on the issue at the moment.

The first edition of 'Gears of War' for Xbox 360 and PC was launched in 2006. The game released three more titles, with the latest one 'Gears of War: Judgement', which came out in 2013.
