Xbox One Comes Back With A New Dashboard This Fall

Among the critics related to Xbox One, stagnation is quite difficult to justify. Shortly after its release and Phil Spencer’s takeover, the system been constantly evolving with new features and the return of old features we enjoyed on the system’s predecessor, the Xbox 360.

Just like Xbox 360, Microsoft is trying hard to overhaul the way we use the system once again this fall when one of the monthly updates will feature a brand new dashboard.

The new dashboard has been planned for a long time. This year, Microsoft wanted to focus on its games at E3 and, as such, left out the nitty gritty stuff like this, however, this was the time when we expected to hear about it all the same.

The greatest aspect of the update is how much it downplays Kinect. The basic tile-based layout looks rather similar, and the menus are clearly meant to be operated by controllers. In addition, the new update aims to optimize the speed of navigation, which certainly will be considered as another step forward.
