This Week Xbox One Costs $230

Though this is not the typical SALE, it has turned out that Microsoft is having a promotion which is slipping under the radar for many. In fact, this is the best deal on any new-gen console we’ve seen since their release in 2013.

When E3 has started, Microsoft has launched both a $400 1TB Xbox One and lowered the price of the 500 GB base version (now Kinect-free) to $350. That was great, though where things really start to go nuts is with the types of bundles they’re offering.

The previous game bundles included either Assassin’s Creed Unity or Halo: The Master Chief Collection as part of the package, while free games featured with the system as often ends up happening a little while into a console’s life cycle. Currently through June 27, Microsoft is including another new game in the pack and you have to decide if it's worth.

This means that any new purchase of an Xbox One not only comes with AC or Halo: MCC, but also potentially Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3, The Elder Scrolls Online, Grand Theft Auto V, Mortal Kombat X and multiple other popular games.

Actually, Microsoft is not doing this for the first time. Despite the fact that they paired with the existing bundles and the recent price cuts, the final price is now lower than it’s ever been. Presently, the company are selling a $350 console which features $120 worth of free games, and it effectively makes the price of the base unit $230, provided you would have bought Assassin’s Creed or Halo: MCC anyway. In any case, in the worst case scenario, a brand new 1TB system is worth $280 in total.
